Adopt an Orphan Scholar
You can be the link between the ambition of
an orphan of violence and the pursuit of a dream.
The Orphan Society of America’s (OSA) Adopt an Orphan
Scholar program enables you to provide a life-changing
gift to an individual whose parent(s) died spontaneously
and unnaturally as a result of homicide, suicide, war,
disaster and sudden death accidents through OSA’s
higher education scholarship fund.
To Adopt an Orphan Scholar we ask that you commit to contribute
or raise the funds necessary for to a two or four year
scholarship for an orphan of violence.

Why should you Adopt an Orphan Scholar?
In 2008, The Orphan Society of America (OSA) completed
and published a report on the state of individuals orphaned
by violent death in the United States. The prevailing
need reported to best assist these individuals who faced
traumatic loss was financial assistance for education and
basic necessities. To address this need OSA implemented
a scholarship program specifically for individuals orphaned
by violence seeking to pursue higher education.
The
drive and ambition of these individuals combined with the
necessary funds needed to make their dreams come true is
a real recipe for success.
