Pennsylvania Centers & Organizations that use The Dougy Center for Grieving Children Resources:

The Dougy Center for Grieving Children was the first center in the United States to provide peer support groups for grieving children. Started in 1982, they have served 20,000 children, teens and families. Through the National Center, they provide support and training locally, nationally and internationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children in grief.  Dougy Center model support groups are located throughout the country.

The Center for Grieving Children, Teens and Families is a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia.  In their center, they offer grief support groups for children, ages 6 - 18, who have experienced the death of someone close, educational programs for families, support and referral, conferences on grief and loss for professionals, workshops for professionals and volunteers who work with children in schools, social service agencies, community groups, hospitals and religious congregations, and consultation on crisis intervention related to the grief of children and teens.
