• OSA is the only organization solely dedicated
to providing services and programs for
individuals orphaned by violence in the United States.
• OSA’s goal is to empower individuals orphaned by violence by providing
them with
scholarships to pursue their higher education goals.
WHO IS AN ORPHAN OF VIOLENCE?
A child or adolescent who has lost at least one parent from a violent
death. Examples of violent death include but are not limited to homicide, suicide, war, natural disaster and sudden death accidents.
